With his experimental sounds and visuals he performs and synthesises a coordinated and coherent whole to integrate the natural resonance in a behavioral context and tries to transcend its traditional boundaries.

His body of work ranges from various art exhibitions (painting/ installation/ video/ writing) to (collaborative/ solo) art performances, sound art, noise, recordings and AV(Audio/Visual) fuse. He is practicing art as a way to investigate his inner perceptions, exploring his experimentations and improvisational tendencies, working collaboratively to encourage trans-disciplinary art practice and even unexpected possibilities. He is also known as ‘a.m.u.r.t.a.r.i.t.i.’ , which combines two words ‘amurta’ and ‘riti’, which refer to abstract and method/ritual/process/memory, respectively.

a.m.u.r.t.a.r.i.t.i. :

‘A perceptible exploration

of metaphorical abstraction,

an exploration of inward periphery

synchronized with the outward fragments,

through time and space,

experimenting,

improvising,

creating unknown and unpredictable cycles

of thoughts and perceptions,

providing experimental possibilities

to experience the obscured desires

for the beauty of artistic seduction.’

Neuromancer
While zoning out to non-sensical soundscapes on a busted-up laptop, reading about synthetic dystopias and dolphins made of code swimming through virtual reality, an obsession with cyberpunk took root and speculation about its soundtrack began to form. Neuromancer is an exploration into that obsession. A journey to discover what this imagined future sounds like.

Himanshu Khetan is the man behind Neuromancer. Born and raised in Nepal, in the foothills of the Himalayas. A fascination for fast-paced punk and the eccentric end of electronica led him down a rabbit-hole that ended in the experimental extremes.

Up-tempo beats, chaotic rhythms, and glitchy robotic noises define the sound of his cyberspace. Neuromancer’s sounds draws inspiration from Hi-tech, DnB, Glitch-hop and Breakcore to cut out silicon-based constructs from reality and jack them into his matrix.

Srijana Regmi with DJ AJ
Srijana is a singer / songwriter based in Kathmandu. In early 2019 after taking a ten day silent meditation retreat she began work on her debut album “Dreams Under A Rhododendron Tree” , named after the tree under which she was inspired to write the album. This will be their first live perfomance from the album.
